Having started out as an electrical compliance and testing company, in response to client demand we expanded our service offering to include facilities management and building services, where we continue to deliver value-for-money, innovative solutions.

Our History

    • Established as a single owner operator
    • 1st Employee in Sept 2000
    • 2nd Employee Feb 2001
    • Operated primarily as a sub-contractor to the electrical contracting industry


    • Became a NICEIC registered contractor


    • Engaged to deliver a safe isolation and electrical testing inspection project for a contractor in the 800,000 sq. ft. Victoria Square project incorporating 98 retail units
    • ROL made a strategic plan to move away from a subcontracting model to servicing clients directly


    • Began working on NI Water sites


    • Became a supply chain partner to a large FM contractor for the Pan-Government Framework delivering electrical testing and minor electrical works across some of NI’s prestigious government buildings
    • Became a partner of the Socomec Group, delivering back-up UPS systems to all NI government departments


    • Incorporated as a Private Limited Company
    • Celebrated our 10 years in business anniversary
    • Attained certification to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and Safe-T-Cert


    • Became a RECI registered contractor
    • Secured our first major electrical testing contract with NI Water
    • Awarded as a supplier on an electrical testing and minor works Framework for Translink, which led to delivery of a full electrical maintenance contract


    • Investment in customised job workflow system
    • Awarded the electrical MTC for the South Eastern Education and Library Board


    • Attained certification to OHSAS 18001 and Alcumus SafeContractor Scheme
    • Awarded both 3-yr NIE Networks meter replacement scheme and SOSA (appointment based calls) contracts
    • Also awarded a 3-yr NI Water contract for electrical testing and remedial works


    • Opened new 5,000sq. ft.  Head Office premises in Cookstown, Co Tyrone
    • Invested heavily in enhanced job workflow and CAFM system
    • Appointed as contractor for high-profile FMCG client, Iceland, to deliver comprehensive FM services on a planned and reactive basis across NI


    • Penetrated the Republic of Ireland (ROI) market completing electrical installations within new Iceland stores
    • Also appointed as the Iceland FM provider across ROI
    • Strategic decision taken to expand within the ROI and Scottish markets


    • Commenced work for the Iceland construction division in Scotland and appointed as the Iceland FM service provider both in Scotland and NI
    • NI Water Contract extended for additional 4 years until 2022
    • Rebranded the Company and set up regional offices in Dublin, Edinburgh and London to reflect our growth and service expansion
    • Registered a Private Limited Company in ROI
    • Awarded to multiple ROI Frameworks for prestigious public-sector clients, including Trinity College Dublin


    • Commencing work with a major retailer on the roll-out of their new stores across Scotland, ROI and NI
