Working as a service provider to Northern Ireland Water (NIW) since 2011, ROL Group are engaged to deliver the contract to provide electrical inspection, testing and repair (EITR) services across NI Water’s premises in Northern Ireland, comprising of circa:

  • 24 impounding reservoirs
  • 24 water treatment works
  • 1,030 wastewater treatment works
  • 320 water pumping stations
  • 1,290 wastewater pumping stations
  • and other various facilities.

 

An element of this project incorporates the provision of Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) for all sites.

The project involves all planned inspections and maintenance, including fault analysis, safety testing, and equipment testing and troubleshooting over the range of M&E equipment installed at NI Water’s assets.

Stringent disinfection protocols and cross-contamination policies must be adhered to while working on potable water and waste water sites, and all pollution and environmental-related risks must be controlled and managed.

Under the scope of an additional framework arrangement, where EICRs have resulted in Code 3 recommendations, ROL Group have also been engaged to deliver a large number of planned repairs/upgrades at multiple NIW assets across Northern Ireland.

NIW which provides water and sewerage services to 655,000 households and 85,000 non-households across Northern Ireland.

Due to the successful delivery of the project, the current contract was extended until 2020.
