Rallying to success!
We are delighted to sponsor former World Rally team mates Craig Breen and Paul Nagle in their Fiesta R5 in the UAC Easter Stages Rally 2019 to be held in Antrim this weekend.
The two-day rally is the third round of the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship 2019. On Friday 19th April the event starts from the scenic setting of Antrim Castle Gardens and finishes on Saturday 20th of April in Dundrod Motorsport Centre.
Waterford’s Craig Breen and his Killarney co-driver Paul Nagle are coming off a win in the Sanremo Rally in Italy last week and are going for a third victory in a row in the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship, currently leading overall by six points.
ROL Group wish the boys the best of luck for the weekend – see you at the finish line!
Supporting communities to bloom!
Further to our recent re-brand, we were left with an abundance of brand new uniforms and safety wear that we could no longer use. We were left with the options of sending these to landfill or putting them to good use in support of our local community. Guess which one we chose? And we didn’t have to think too hard about who we would offer them to!
We thought who better to use our workwear to keep them warm and visible working on this year’s creations than Castlecaulfield Horticultural Society (CHS). Last Friday we welcomed Vice Chairperson, Heather McClure, from the multi-award winning society to take delivery of the workwear, whose energy and enthusiasm for their community-based projects and schemes is infectious. This has no doubt led to their recently being shortlisted as a finalist in the prestigious Champion of Champions category of the RHS Britain in Bloom 2019 competition and the success of their current Eco Buddies initiative.
We wish CHS every success in their future endeavours. Keep up the good work! #somuchmorethanjustflowers
Our new brand is on the road!
Richard O’Lone, Managing Director of ROL Group, is delighted to have recently taken delivery of our new fleet of Mercedes Benz Vito and X-Class vans from Mercedes Benz Truck & Van NI.
Given the number of vehicles on the road and miles we travel to service our customers across Ireland and the UK, the safety of our team and the environmental impact of our vehicles are paramount; hence our investment in a fleet of 5-star Euro NCAP safety-rated vehicles, all of which are Euro6 compliant.
Supported by 24/7 European-wide roadside assistance cover with a typical response time of less than an hour, we’re protected in the event of breakdown or collision and back on the road to service our customers as quickly as possible.
Safe and happy motoring to the ROL Group team!
18th Edition – Wired for success
We are thrilled and proud to extend our congratulations to the entire ROL Group electrical team for recently passing their exams and attaining certification to the BS 7671:2018 18th Edition Wiring Regulations with a 100% first-time success rate.
The course, aimed at practicing electricians with relevant experience to update and enhance their understanding of IEEE Wiring Regulations, ensures that our team are fully conversant with the format, content and application of the Regulations.
Not only have our electrical engineers completed the transition from 17th Edition to attain the City & Guilds 2382-18 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification; the keen dedication and hard work of our senior management and contract support staff has also led to them completing and excelling in their exams.
