Supporting communities to bloom!

Further to our recent re-brand, we were left with an abundance of brand new uniforms and safety wear that we could no longer use. We were left with the options of sending these to landfill or putting them to good use in support of our local community. Guess which one we chose?   And we didn’t have to think too hard about who we would offer them to!

We thought who better to use our workwear to keep them warm and visible working on this year’s creations than Castlecaulfield Horticultural Society (CHS). Last Friday we welcomed Vice Chairperson, Heather McClure, from the multi-award winning society to take delivery of the workwear, whose energy and enthusiasm for their community-based projects and schemes is infectious.  This has no doubt led to their recently being shortlisted as a finalist in the prestigious Champion of Champions category of the RHS Britain in Bloom 2019 competition and the success of their current Eco Buddies initiative.

We wish CHS every success in their future endeavours. Keep up the good work! #somuchmorethanjustflowers
